and personal property hereinafter bequeathed
and given to him as such trustee.
           In Trust
Nevertheless, during the period and for the persons
and objects hereinbefore mentioned, as follows to-wit:
To loan and keep loaned all moneys of said
trust estate at interest on good real estate se-
curity: to let and rent the said house and lot
and collect the rents thereof: to pay the taxes
therein and all the taxes of said trust estate: to
keep said building in proper repair and to
keep the same insured at its insurable value
for the benefit of the beneficiaries under this trust;
and in case of partial loss or destruction of the
said building by fire or ligtning to repair the
same out of the insurance indemity and out of
the principal of said trust estate, if needed and in
care of total destruction and loss of said building
by fire or lightning to rebuild the same out of the
insurance moneys realized thereon and out of
the principal of said trust estate, if needed therefor,
or else to sell the said lot or site of said building
and invest the proceeds of the insurance thereon
in good real estate interest bearing securities
as aforesaid, whichever in his judgment he may
deem best to do for the interest of all concerned.
And, generally, to do all things necessary and proper
for the safe investment and preservation of said trust
estate; and to pay to the said John E. Hudson for
and during the period of his natural life as
income of said stocks or shares in said land
companies, to-wit:- The University Heights
Company the West Lawn Company and the
Madison Land and Improvement Company
