Fortune Sturks

  I Fortune Sturks of the State of Florida
and County of Alachua & of the age of eighty
three years and being of sound mind and
memory do make publish and declare this
my last will and testament in the manner
following: that is to say:
First: I want my Executor hereafter named
to pay out of my estate as soon as possible
after my decease, all my just debts, together with
the expenses of my last sickness and my funeral
and his testamentary expenses.
Second: I give and bequeath to my son
William Sturks, for his case and attentions to me
and my wife during our lives the east half
of the South east quarter of the South east
quarter of Section ten (10) in Township ten
(10) south of Range nineteen (19) east containing
twenty acres more or less, Also 5 acres in Lot
No 4 of a sub-division of section eleven (11)
Township ten (10) South Range nineteen (19)
east, saving one acre previously sold to
Jake Anderson, together with all my personal property
Third: I give and devise unto my six remaining
children: Sarah Waiters, Clarinda Strapier, children
of Hannah Knight, dec'd, Boston Sturks, Abbey Cato
March Sturks, all the rest and residue of my
real estate of which I may die seized and
possessed - share and share alike saving and excepting
three acres and three quarters of the land in lot No 4
previously mentioned in this Will, which I desire
to be the property of my three Grand-children Fortune
Sturks Jr. Mack Knight Jr. & Lincoln Clark.
In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal this May 9th 1891, I hereby nominate and
appoint my son March Sturks as the sole
