       Cause to act and in default of such nomination
Will   and appointment the vacancy shall be filled
       in the manner provided by law and any trustee
       so nominated and appointed shall be exempt
       from giving any surety or sureties on their
       or his official Bond, as such trustee, During the
       continuance of a vacancy the surviving or re-
       maining trustee shall have every power herein
       given to the two trustees.
       Twelfth: The trustees under this Will may
       receive from my executors, executor or admin-
       istrator and retain as part of any of the trust
       funds, any securities of which I shall die posessed,
       and neither they nor their successors in said trust
       shall be liable for their depreciation or loss, even
       though the same are not proper trust investments
       Thirteenth: I direct that the income and principal herein
       bequeathed shall not be alienable by any beneficiary
       either by assignment or by any other method and
       the                   Nathan H. Daniels
       said income and principal shall not be
       subject to be taken by his or her creditors
       by any process whatever nor shall the same be
       liable for any debts of any husband of any female 
       beneficiary.
       Fourteenth:  I hereby authorize and empower the
       trustees or trustee for the time being under this
       will to sell at public or private sale or
       mortgage, pledge or lease any portion or the whole
       of the estate real or personal which they or
       he many hold under the trusts hereby created
       and to execute and deliver good and sufficient
       deeds and other instruments to convey and
       transfer the same. And upon the determination
       of any trust created under this Will
