(paid) The last will and testament of James Chesnut
In the name of the Father and of the Son, and of
the Holy Ghost. Amen.
  I James Chesnut, a citizen and resident of
Alachua County Florida, being of sound and dis-
posing mind, memory, and discretion, yet mindful
of the uncertainty of human life, do hereto and
hereby make this my last will and testament
and do revoke all other and former will or
wills that may have been made by me.
                 Item 1st
I give devise and bequeath all of my estate
and property, real and personal of which I may
die seized and possessed or to which I may be
entitled to at my decease, to my dear wife
Amelia B. Chesnut, for and during her natural
life, provided, however, that should - 2 - it become
necessary for the sale and disposition of any of the
said property real or personal for her support and
maintenance there, she shall have full power and authority
to convey the same and to make good and sufficient
title thereto in fee simple to any purchase thereof.
                Item 2d
After the decease of my said wife the said Amelia
B. Chesnut, it is my will and desire and I hereby
devise, and bequeath unto my daughter Esther Birkett
Fry Jordan, and Esther Chesnut Jordan four (4/10) tenths
of all property of which I may die seized or possessed
or to which I may be entitled at my decease,
whether real estate, Bonds, Mortgages, notes at interest
Bank Stock, Cash, or Securities of any Kind
