to Karl B. Reed a son, and Fanny L. Reed Bart-
lette, a niece of my late husband, Charles G.
Reed, to be divided equally between them, but
in case either one of them shall not be liv-
ing at my decease, then his or her share shall
go to his or her issue, by right of representation.
If either die, leaving no issue there to the survivor,
If living. If no survivor then to his or her
issue.
             Sixteenth
I nominate my sisters, Fannie M. Whitcomb
and Mary G. Whitcomb to be the executors of this
will and I request that they be exempt from
furnishing the surety or sureties on their bond
as such executors, and authorize them to sell and
convey at their own discretion any and all real
estate or personal property without license of Probate
Court, and to apply the proceeds thereof for any pur-
poses or provisions mentioned in this will
whether for the payments of debts and expenses
or legacy mentioned herein, and to execute and
deliver any and all deeds or other instruments
necessary and proper for the purpose of conveying
said estate
  In testimony whereof, I have hereunto
set my hand this eighth day of April nineteen
hundred and ten.
