    Thursday November 18th 1880

      vs.           }Larceny
Elick Williams      }And now this cause coming
on to be heard W.A. Hocker States attorney prosecu-
ting in the name and by the authority of the
State of Florida and the prisoner appearing
in his own proper person as well as by his
B.H. Thrasher and the prisoner being arraigned
saith he is not guilty as the indictment alleges
against him and for good and evil he puts
himself upon God and the County for trial
Whereupon a Jury was called and then came
W.O. Colson, I.U. Malphurs, S. Guthrie, 
Benj Haile, Leroy N. Pearce and Burt Hague
who were duly sworn and empanelled to well
and truly try the difference pending and there-
after after hearing the evidence the argument of 
Counsel and the charge of the Court retired
to consider of their verdict and thereafter
on the same day returned into open Court
and rendered the following verdict to wit:
We the Jury find the accused not Guilty
so say we all.        W.O. Colson
