And now this Cause coming
on to be heard W.A. Hocker prosecuting in the
name and by the authority of the State of Florida
and the prisoner appearing in his own proper
person as well as by his attorney J.C. Gardner
and now the prisoner being arraigned upon
his arraignment saith that he is not guilty where=
upon a Jury was called and there came Jas H. Low
A.L. King, F.W. Lambert, M.A. Tolar Z.T. Taylor Jr.
O.W. Sykes who were duly Sworn and empanelled
to well and truly try the difference pending and
thereafter after hearing the evidence the argu-
ment of Counsel and the Charge of the Court
retired to consider of their verdict and thereafter
on the same day returned into open Court and
rendered the following verdict to wit: We the
Jurors find the prisoner not guilty
O.W. Sykes
M.A. Tolar
F.W. Lambert
J.H. Low
A.L. King foreman
Whereupon the prisoner was discharged -
State of Florida }
vs } Rape
Earnest Worley }
And now the Defendant is
called and failed to answer Whereupon his bond
was Estreated and Scire facias ordered to issue to
the Defendant and sureties

vs } Assault with intent to Murder
Robert L. Cathcart }
And now this Cause is Continued
on motion of Defendant.
