Fall Term AD 1880
       Friday November 19th 1880
The Court met persuant to adjournment of yes-
terday His Honor James B. Dawkinds Judge pre-
siding.

State of Florida    }
      vs.           } Disposing of Mortgaged
William Murphy      } property to defeat a Lien
                    } And now this cause coming
on to be heard W.A. Hocker states attorney pros-
ecuting in the name and by the authority of
the State of Florida and the prisoner appearing
in his own proper person as well as by his attorney
Geo T. Turner. Whereupon the prisoner was ar-
raigned and upon his arraignment saith that
he is guilty as the Indictment alleges -
Whereupon the prisoner being demanded if he
had anything to say why sentence should
not be passed upon him saith nothing
Whereupon the Court sentenced the prisoner
William Murphy to pay a fine of Five dollars
and all costs or in default of the payment
of the fine and cost to be imprisoned in 
the County Jail for the space of Thirty days.

State of Florida      }
      vs.             } assault with intent to
Joseph J. Tillis and  } murder
Aaron J. DaCosta      }
                      } And now this Cause com-
ing on to be heard W.A. Hocker states attorney
prosecuting in the name and by the authority 
of the State of Florida and the prisoners 
appearing in their own proper person as well 
as by their attorneys Mess Thrasher & Hampton &
Taylor & Sanchez.  Whereupon the defendents having
interposed a plea in abatement and the issues
being juried after argument the Court sustained the
Demurer interposed to the Defendents plea in
abatement in the following order to wit:
