The Judgment and sentence
of the Court is that you Peter Rutledge be taken
by the Sheriff of the County of Alachua to the
State Penitentiary and by him be delivered to the
principal Keeper thereof and that you be im
prisoned by confinement at hard Labor in the
State Penitentiary for the term of six months

And now the prisoner being
brought into open Court for sentence was demanded
if he had any thing to say why sentence should not
be pronounced upon him saith nothing
Whereupon the Court sentenced Jack Scott to

} You have been convicted of
the Crime of Murder by a Jury of your Country
and by them recomended to the Mercy of the Court
The Judgment and Sentence of the Court is that

State of Florida and by him be delivered to the
principal Keeper thereof and that you be impris-
oned by confinement at hard labor in the State
Penitentiary for the term of your natural life
