Whereupon J.A. Shannon who had been
duly Sworn as Bailiff to the Jury took Charge
of the Jury under instructions from the
Court
Whereupon the Court adjourned until tomorrow
morning at nine oclock

The Court met pursuant to adjournment of
yesterday his Honor Enock J. Vann Judge
of the Third Judicial Circuit presiding as
Judge of the 5th Circuit

And now the hearing of
this Cause is resumed whereupon the Jurors
who had been selected on yesterday to wit:
T.B. Smith, R.C. Davis, L. Werthiem, Counsil Ward
Robert Hawkins H. Pinkoson, Essex James and
J.B. Vanlanding being now in Court under the
charge of the Bailiff, # and the Prisoner John Lee
being in open Court: And now the Deputy Sheriff J.B.
Cullen having reported that he had summoned
Thirty persons from the body of the County as
directed by the Court. Whereupon there Came
L.L. Hill M.L. Ward, J.B. Mixson and Joseph L.
Roberts.
Whereupon the following named Jurors to wit:
1 T.B. Smith 2 R.C. Davis, 3 L. Werthiem, 4 Council Ward
5 Robert Hawkins 6 H. Pinkoson 7. Essex James
8 J.B. Vanlandingham 9. L.L. Hill 10 M.L. Ward
11 J.B. Mixson 12 Joseph L. Roberts were duly
Sworn and empanelled to well and truly try the
difference pending between the State of Florida
and the prisoner at the bar and thereafter
after hearing a part of the evidence
