Six Years and your petitioner herewith tenders to your Honor
proof of his said attachment to the principles of the Constitution of
the United States and humbly prays that he may be allowed to
take the oath of Citizenship and allegiance to the United States
that he may become henceforth a naturalized Citizen thereof and
he will ever pray &c

Before me personally appeared
H.B. Perryman & A.D. Perryman who being first
duly sworn say that they have been personally
acquainted with John Garner formerly a Citizen
of the Government of Great Britain for the term
of Five years; and that they know that the said
John Garner has resided within the United States
of America for the term of Six years and that he the said John
Garner has resided within the State of Florida for the term of
6 years and that these affiants knows that the said John
Garner during that time has always behaved and deported
himself as a man of good moral character and that he is
attached to the principles of the constitution of the United
States and that he is well disposed to the good order and
happiness of the same
