The Court met pursuant to adjournment His
Honor Judge Enock J. Vann Judge of the Third
Judicial Circuit presiding as Judge of the
Fifth Circuit

And now the Prisoner John Lee
being in open Court as also the Counsel for both
the State and the Prisoner at the Bar,
Whereupon the Jury who had been duly Sworn and
empanelled in this Cause to wit T.B. Smith, R.C.
Davis, L. Wertheim, Council Ward Robert Hawkins
H. Pinkoson Essex James, J.B. Vanlandingham
L.L. Hill, M.L. Ward, J.B. Mixson and Joseph L.
Roberts being now in open Court under the
Charge of the Bailiff J.A. Shannon.
Whereupon the hearing of this Cause was re-
summed. And the Jury after hearing a part of
the argument of Counsel.
Whereupon the Court adjourned until Two oclock
P.M.
Whereupon the Court met pursuant to adjournment
to Two Oclock P.M.
