Adjourned Fall Term of 1882
        Monday January 15th 1883
State of Florida }
        vs       } assault with intent to Murder
Zack Penland     } and now this Cause is Contin-
ued by the states atty.

Whereupon the Sheriff having returned the
venire for the Petit Jury of this the second Week
of this term of this Court, by Summonsing the
following named persons to wit:
J.J. McKinny, Charles Adkins, J.S. Twomey
J.M. Dell  E.C. Bailey  J.J. Jones, J.B. Mixson
James Bradshaw, Ned E. Farrell, J.R. Zetrouer
Ambrose Abbott, T.W. Zetrouer and S.L. Blan-
ton, and that F.A. Pardee, E.D. Barnett, J.A. Brock
C.L. Slaughter and Z.M. Sanders were not to be
found in the County -
Whereupon the Court for good and sufficient
Cause excused from further attendance upon this
Court, Charles Adkins, J.M. Dell, Ned E. Farrell
and T.W. Zetrouer
Whereupon the Court for good and sufficient Cause
Excused J.J. McKinny from attendance on the Court
for to day.

Whereupon there Came and answered to their names
to serve as Petit Jurors for this the second
week of this term of this Court the following
named person to wit: J.S. Twomey, E.C. Bailey
J.J. Jones, J.B. Mixson, James Bradshaw, J.R.
Zetrouer Ambrose Abbott and S.L. Blanton

Whereupon the Court adjourned until tomorrow
morning at Nine Oclock

Whereupon the Court being informed that the
Jury in the case of the State of Florida
vs John Lee had concluded on a verdict
Whereupon the Court revoked the order adjourning
the Court until Nine Oclock Tomorrow
morning and ordered the Sheriff to open Court
in due form which being done as ordered
by the Court
Whereupon the following proceedings were
had to wit:
