And now this cause Coming on
to be heard Wm A. Hocker State Attorney prosecuting
in the name and by the authority of the State of
Florida and the prisoner appearing in his own
proper person as well as by his attorneys Mess Taylor
& Sanchez and the prisoner being now brought to
the Bar here under the Custody of the Sheriff of
Alachua County and being forthwith demanded
how he would acquit himself of the Charge against
him saith that he is not Guilty, whereupon a
Jury was called and there came, J.S. Twomey
E.C. Bailey - J.J. Jones, James Bradshaw, S.L. Blanton
J.J. Tillis who were duly Sworn and empanelled to
well and truly try the diference pending between
the State of Florida and the prisoner at the bar
And thereafter after hearing the evidence -
rendered the following verdict to wit:

We the Jury find the prisoner not
guilty so say we all J.J. Tillis Foreman

Whereupon the witnesses in case No. 4 of State of
Florida vs Joseph Perry were discharge from
further attendance upon the Court at this term
