Charles Williams which being done this bond shall
be null and void else to remain of full force and
virtue

                  And now this Cause is on
the affidavit of the Defendant Continued -

State of Florida }  Hocker
        vs       }  Entering Dwelling house with
Andrew Hopkins   }  intent to commit Larceny --
                 }  McCall
                   And now this Cause Com-
ing on to be heard Wm A. Hocker states attorney
prosecuting in the name and by authority of the
State of Florida and the Prisoner appearing in
his own proper person as well as by his attorney
W.W. McCall Whereupon the Prisoner now here
being brought to the bar under the Custody of
John W. Turner Sheriff of Alachua County
to which Sheriff he is also likewise Committed
And now the prisoner being forthwith demanded how
he would acquit himself of the Charge against
him Saith that he is guilty as the Indictment
alleges against him -

        vs        }  Breaking and entering with intent
John Purvis alias }  to Commit a Felony -
John Purvis Henry }  Goss
                    And now this cause coming
on to be heard Wm A. Hocker States Attorney Prosecuting
in the name and by the authority of the State of
Florida and the Prisoner appearing in his own 
proper person as well as by his attorney J.H. Goss
Whereupon the prisoner now here being brought to
the bar under the Custody of John W. Turner Sheriff
of Alachua County to which Sheriff he is also
likewise committed: And now being forthwith de-
manded how he would acquit himself of the
Charge against him saith that he is not guilty as the
Indictment alleges against him and for good and
evil he puts himself up God and the County for trial
