       vs        }  assault with intent to commit
Bill Williams    }  Rape
                 }  Thrasher, Taylor & Sanchez
                 }  And now the Prisoner Bill
Williams being in open Court as likewise
the Counsel for the state and for the Defendant
And now this cause coming on to be heard on
a motion in arrest of Judgment herein
Whereupon the Court after argument had thereon
and Consideration of the Same overruled the
said motion in arrest in Judgment to which
ruling the Defendant by his Counsel then and 
there excepted.

Whereupon the Court ordered that the Counsel
for the prisoner Bill Williams be allowed and
the time be extended to thirty days in which to
prepare their Bill of Exceptions and in which to
Complete their appeal obtain his writ of Error -

Whereupon comes the Counsel for the Defendant
Bill Williams in open Court and gives notice
of their appeal to the Supreme Court of the State
of Florida in the words and figures to wit:-

And now at this Term of the Circuit Court
Comes the Defendant by Ashby & Thrasher &
Taylor & Sanchez his attorneys and in open Court
applies for and enters his appeal from the Judg-
ment herein to the Supreme Court of the State of
Florida to be held in the City of Tallahassee
