Spring Term A.D. 1883
          Tuesday Aril 24th 1883
The Court met pursuant to adjournment of yesterday
His Honor Thomas F. King Judge presiding:
Whereupon
          The Sheriff Saml C. Tucker having returned
the special Venire facias to Complete the panel of the
Grand Jury as being duly executed by Summoning
the following Named persons to wit: H. Levy, T.J. Freeze
W.D. Merritt B.M. Smith and A. McDavid and Jerry
Sherouse.
Whereupon the Grand Jury was called and there Came
1 J.R. Bevill 2 John C. Eastman 3. R.C. Bradly 4 Jasper
Kirtlin 5 B.F. Parker 6. D.A. Moody 7. C.P. Evans 8. W.G. Robinson
9 J.S. Dupuis 10. John Cellon Jr. 11 John F. Perry 12 H. Levy
13 W.D. Merritt 14 B.M. Smith 15. Thos J. Freeze 16 and A. Mc-
David
Whereupon   
        the Grand Jury without leaving the Jury Box
selected John R. Bevill as there foreman and in
open Court anounced the Same
Whereupon
       The following named persons were duly Sworn
and empanelled as Grand Jurors in and for the body of
the County of Alachua at this the Spring Term of
our Court, to wit
1   John R. Bevill Foreman            9   J.S. Dupuis
2   John C. Eastman                  10   John Cellon Jr.
3   R.C. Bradley                     11   John F. Perry
4   Jasper Kirtlin                   12   H. Levy
4   B.F. Parker                      13   W.D. Merritt
6   D.A. Moody                       14   B.M. Smith
7   C.P. Evans                       15   Thos J. Freeze
8   W.G. Robinson                    16   A. McDavid
Whereupon
        the Court having excused Jerry Sherouse from
further attendance on this Court he was discharged
Whereupon
        the Court having charged the Grand Jury
the Grand Jury retired to their room under the
Charge of Isaac Roberts who had been duly
sworn as such the Bailiff to the Grand Jury

Whereupon
        the Court excused Isaac Guynn from further
attendance on the Court he being Sick
