The Court met pursuant to adjournment of yester-
day His Honor Thomas F. King Judge presiding
Whereupon the Grand Jury came into open Court
and rendered No Bills in the following causes to wit:

vs } Perjury
Wm R. Lewis }
State of Florida }
vs } resisting an officer
Fate Walls }
State of Florida }
vs } Larceny
Emanuel McRae }
Whereupon the principal Bondsmen and witnesses in
said Causes were discharged from attendance on
this Court
And now the Grand Jury having Completed its
labors beg leave to present and have read their general
presentment which being done the Grand Jury
was discharged from attendance on this Court

This the petition of William E. Dewson would very
respectfully shew unto your Honor that he is a resident
of Gainesville in Alachua County Florida and that
he is over the age of Twenty one (21) years, That he has
for sometime past been applying himself assidu
ously to the study of law in its various branches
And he humbly prays your Honor to appoint a Com-
mittee to examine into the qualification of your pe
titioner for admission to the Bar of this Honorable Circuit
And that if the report of said Committee shall be
favorable that your petitioner may be admitted
to the Bar of this Honorable Court as an attorney and |
