We the undersigned Committee
appointed by your Honor to examine the applicant
William E. Dewson for admission to the bar as an
attorney and Counsellor at Law beg leave hereby to report
to your Honor that we have performed the duty assigned
to us - And we take pleasure in reporting to your
Honor that in a lengthy examination covering nearly
all of the general branches of law and equity we
found Mr. Dewson well grounded being prompt
and accurate in his replies exhibiting the fact that he
has assiduously applied himself in his studies and
that he very understandingly comprehends what he
has read both from a theoretical as well as a practical
standpoint and we take great pleasure in reccom-
ending him to be admitted to the Bar of this Honorable
Court as an attorney and Counsellor at Law
