And now on this day
came the Plaintiffs and the Defendant saying
nothing in Bar or preclusion of the Plaintiffs
right to recover Whereupon a Jury was called and
there came George S. Chamberlain, John Kite
H.J. Bailey, Jacob J. Caile - G.H. Tyson and S.T.
Richardson who were duly Sworn and empaneled
to well and truly assess the damages herein and
thereafter after hearing the evidence and the
argument of Counsel retired to consider of their
verdict and thereafter on the Same day returned
into open Court and rendered the following
verdict to wit: We the Jury assess the Plaintiffs
damages at $466.32 H.J. Bailey
Dec 4th 1883 Foreman
Whereupon it is ordered Considered and adjudged
by the Court that the Plaintiffs do have and
recover of and from the Defendant the Sum of
Four hundred and Sixty Six & 32/100 Dollars ($466.32/100)
for their damages together with their costs in this
behalf expended taxed at Seven & 57/100 ($7 57/100) Dollars
and the Defendant in mercy &c
