} And now the motion to
quash the Indictment in this cause is granted

No 14 vs } assault with intent to

And now the hearing of
this cause is resumed and the prisoner being
present in open Court as like wise the Counsel
both for the State and for the Defendant and
the Jury aforesaid of the hearing the
evidence the argument of Counsel and the
Charge of the Court retired to Consider of
their verdict and thereafter on the Same day
returned into open Court and rendered the
following verdict to wit: We the Jury find
the prisoner not guilty R.H. Hall

Joseph McRae }
And now the order heretofore
made herein estreating the defendants Bond and
the order of Continuance herein is vacated and set aside
And now in open Court comes the Prisoner Joseph
McRae and in open Court saith that he is
guilty as the Indictment alleges against
him.
Whereupon the Court sentenced the prisoner Joseph
McRae to pay a fine of Fifty dollars together
with the costs of the Court.
