Fall Term A.D. 1880
Wednesday November 24th 1880 -
appearing in his own proper person as well as
by his attorneys Mess Taylor & Sanchez and now
the prisoner being brought to the Bar here under
the Custody of John W. Turner Sheriff of Alachua
County to which Sheriff he is also likewise com-
mitted and being forthwith demanded how he
would acquit himself of the Charges against
him saith that he is not guilty as the
Indictment alleges, and for good and evil
he puts himself upon God and the Country for trial
whereupon a Jury was called and there came
E.A. Jeffords, Geo H. Rich - S.V. Duke - Daniel
Hall - Wm Snowden, H. Glagowski who were
duly sworn and empanelled to well and truly
try the Difference pending and thereafter after
hearing the Evidence the argument of Counsel
Whereupon the Court adjourned until to-
morrow morning at nine oclock

Thursday November 25th 1880
The State of Florida }
vs } Beaking and entering a
Smith Oliver } Building with intent
} to commit Larceny
And now the Jury who
were duly sworn and empanelled on yesterday
came into open Court and rendered the
following verdict to wit: We the Jury find
the prisoner not Guilty so say we all

Whereupon the prisoner was discharged =

vs } Maliciously injuring per-
William Lang } sonal property
} And now the Jurors who
had been duly sworn and empanelled on yesterday
to wit: E.A. Jeffords - Geo H. Rich - S.V. Duke -
Daniel Hall Wm A. Snowden H. Glagowski
came into open Court and after hearing the
Charge of the Court retired to Consider of
their verdict and thereafter on the same
day returned into open Court and informed
