Whereupon the Court inquired of the Grand
Jury if they were content that the Court should
alter a matter of form and not a matter of
substance to which inquiry they replied
that they were Content.

Charles Adams } And now this Cause
coming on to be heard W.A. Hocker state
attorney prosecuting in the name and by
the authority of the State of Florida and the
prisoner appearing in his own proper person
as well as by his attorneys Mess King & Turner
was arraigned and upon his arraignment saith
that he is not guilty as the indictment alleges
and for good and evil he puts himself upon
God and the Country for trial whereupon a Jury
was called and then came = Frank Stewart

Primus Johnson who now duly sworn and em-
panelled to well and truly try the issue joined
and thereafter after hearing the evidence the
argument of Counsel and the Charge of the
Court retired to consider of their verdict
and thereafter on the Same day returned
to into open Court and rendered the following
verdict to wit; We the Jury find the prisoner
Guilty so say we all Frank Stewart
