Extra & Special  A.D. 1884
     Monday May 12th 1884
At an Extra Special Term of the
Circuit Court in and for Alachua County
Florida begun and holden at the Court
House in the City of Gainesville the
following proceedings were begun and had
to wit:
At which was present His Honor Thomas
F. King Judge of the Fifth Judicial Circuit
William A. Hocker State Attorney -
Samuel C. Tucker Sheriff of Alachua
County and J.A. Carlisle Clerk

It appearing in my Judgment that the pub-
lic welfare and cause of Justice require an
extra and Special Term of the Circuit Court
for the County of Alachua to be held
It is hereby ordered that an extra and
special term of said Court be held for the
said County on Monday the 12th day of May
AD 1884  it is further ordered that the Clerk of
said Circuit Court do draw grand and petit
Jurors for said special Term and issue venires
for the same in the manner now provided by
law the same to be returnable to the said 12th
day of May

Whereupon Samuel C. Tucker Sheriff
having returned the Venire facias for the
Petit Jury as being duly executed by
summoning each for himself the following

and that J.E. Canard was not to be found
in the County
