We the Jury find for the Plaintiff and as-
sess the Damages at Three Hundred Dollars

Whereupon it is ordered Considered and
adjudged by the Court that the Plaintiff
do have and recover of and from the Defen-
dants the said Levi Jones, Solomon James
Stokes Strong & B.J. Smith the sum of Three
hundred dollars together with the Costs
in this behalf expended taxed at Twenty
Five --- Dollars and              Cents

                     } And now this Cause
Coming on to be heard W.A. Hocker State
attorney representing the pleas of the State
of Florida moved the Court for Judgment by
Default and that a Jury be called to as-
sess the damages and it appearing to the
Court that due and legal notice by person-
al service had been made as to Martha
Rawls by the Service of the writ of Scire
Facias herein and that the said Lewis Rawls
and William Pendarvis had been duly Served
by publication of the notice of scire Facias
in the "Weekly Bee a newspaper published
in the City of Gainesville for the space of
thirty days, and whereas the said defendants
have failed to appear plead answer or demur
to the writ of scire Facias herein. Whereupon
a Jury was called and there came
Benjamin Rush, W.H. Bracey, J.E. Haynesworth
Wm Riviere B.P. Boulware - T.E. Haile Sr. who
were duly Sworn and empanned to well and
truy try the issues herein and thereafter after
hearing the evidence rendered the follow-
ing verdict to wit:
