Sentence
And now the Prisoner John W.
Boney being in open Court for sentence was
forthwith demanded if he had any thing to
say why sentence should not be passed upon
him saith nothing
Whereupon the Court sentenced the Prisoner
John W. Boney to confinement in the State
Prison at hard labor for the space of
six months.

} And now this Cause Coming
on to be heard on a motion to set aside
the verdict rendered herein and to grant a
New trial, And now said motion having been
submitted to the Court by argument of Counsel
Whereupon the Court after Considering the
Same decided and so ordered that the
verdict in said Cause be set aside and
that a new trial be granted
Whereupon the Court adjourned until tomorrow
morning at Nine Oclock
