regular Term of the Circuit Court of the
5th Judicial Circuit in and for Alachua
County Florida for the Fall Term A.D. 1884
begun and holden at the Court House
in the City of Gainesville in Alachua County
Florida
The following proceedings were begun
and held to wit
At which was present his
Honor Thomas F. King of the 5th Judi-
cial Circuit William A. Hocker Esqr State
Attorney for the 5th Judicial Circuit Samuel
C. Tucker Sheriff of Alachua County and
J.A. Carlisle Clerk
Whereupon the Court issued
the following order to wit
At the Fall Term of the Circuit Court
of Alachua County for the year 1884
It having
been made to appear to me that no grand
or petit Jurors have been summoned in the
manner provided by law for the regular Term
of the Circuit Court of Alachua County for the Fall
of 1884, It is hereby ordered that the Clerk of the
Circuit Court of said County do issue a special
Venire for Eighteen lawful Jurors to Serve as grand
Jurors for said Fall Term and also a special
Venire for Eighteen lawful Jurors to Serve as
petit Jurors for said Fall Term said Venires
to be directed to the Sheriff of said County &
Commanding him to Summon said Jurors from
the bystanders or the body of said County at
large the Summons to be retuned instanter

And now the Clerk of said Court having
issued Special Venires as by the order of
the Court directed
The Sheriff Samuel C.
Tucker returned the Special Venire for the
Grand Jury by summonsing the following
named persons to serve as Grand Jurors
at this the Fall Term of our Circuit Court
