} And now this Cause
coming on to be heard and the parties plain-
tiff and defendant appearing by their res-
pective attorneys and the issues being now
joined a Jury was called and there Came
Thos M. Kirby - F. Cassells, Owen W. Sykes
Geo M. Colman, J.J. Burton, John Dogan
who were duly Sworn and empanned to well
and truly try the issues joined and a true
verdict give according to the evidence and
thereafter after hearing a part of the evidence
Whereupon the Court adjourned until Nine Oclock
tomorrow morning

to be heard on a demurrer to Defendants Pleas and
thereafter after argument had thereon the Court
ordered and decided that the said Demurrer was good
and overruled the Defendants Plea filed herein where-
upon the Defendants applied for and were granted
until Monday the 8th day of December 1884
two days in which to file their amended Pleas
