Fall Term  A.D. 1884
      Thursday December 4th 1884
Court met pursuant to adjournment of yesterday
His Honor Thos F. King Judge Presiding

Mary E. Furman }   Finly & Hampton
       vs      }   Ejectment
James D. Goss  }  Goss and Dunson

               And now Parties Plaintiff and Defendant
appearing in open Court by their Respective Attorneys
as likewise the Jury which had been duly sworn
and empanelled in this cause on yesterday to wit
Marcus Endel, T.A. Carroll, Geo R. Ellis, C.A. Colclough, Elam Evans
and Thomas J. May - Whereupon the hearing of this
cause was resumed and the Jury aforesaid thereafter
after hearing the balance of the Evidence the argument of
counsel the Charge of the Court retired to consider of
their verdict and thereafter on the same day returned
into open Court and returned the following verdict
to wit:
                 In Circuit Court Fifth Judicial
                   Circuit of Florida Alachua County
Mary E. Furman }
       vs      }  Ejectment
James D. Goss  }
                We the Jury find for the Plaintiff
has and is entitled to the fee simple title to the
land in question and to the possession thereof To wit:
to all that certain piece or parcel of land lying and
being situate in Alachua County Florida and
described more particularly described as follows
viz. all that part of the North half of Lot Eighteen (18)
in the Town of Fairbanks in said County lying south of
the Transit Rail Road according to a map of the
survey of Section Twelve (12) Township Nine (9)
Range Twenty and apart of Section Seven Township
Nine (9) Range Twenty one (21) South and East as
make by W.K. Cessna and dated March 1st A.D.
1878 containing one and one half acres of land
more or less and bounded on the North and West by
the Transit Rail Road on the East by Magnolia now
called third Street and on the South by lands
heretofore deeded to Dr. Chandler and now owned
by J.D. Goss and we the Jury find that the
Plaintiff is not entitled to Mesne Profits
