said thereafter after hearing the evidence and the
charge of the Court retired to Consider of
their verdict and thereafter on the Same day
returned into open Court and rendered
the following verdict to wit: We the Jury find

And now this Cause is
continued on the affidavit of the Defendant

vs } Dealing in intoxicating
Michaelus Shiretzki } liquors without license

And now this Caus is nol
prosed.

vs } Maliciously breaking down
Isaac Davis } a fence
And now this Cause is Continued

vs } assault with intent to Murder
Lot Daniels } Hughes - Taylor & Sanchez
} And now this Cause Coming
on to be heard William A. Hocker State attorney
prosecuting in the name and by the authority of
the State of Florida and the prisoner appearing
in open Court in his own proper person as well
as by Hughes & Taylor & Sanchez his attorneys
And now the prisoner being brought to the Bar
here under the Custody of Samuel C. Tucker
Sheriff to which Sheriff he is also likewise
Committed and being forthwith demanded
how he would acquit himself of the Charge
against him saith that he is not guilty as the
Indictment alleges against him and for
good and evil he puts himself upon God
and the Country for trial whereupon a Jury
was called and there came: W.W. Bourne
