Thursday December 18th 1884
Jury aforesaid after hearing the balance of the
evidence the argument of Counsel and the
Charge of the Court retired to consider of
their verdict and thereafter on the same day
returned into open Court and rendered the
following verdict to wit: We the Jury find for
the plaintiff and assess the damages at Seventy
dollars. W.S. Land foreman
Gainesville Fla Decr 1884.
Whereupon it is ordered considered and adjudged by the
Court that the plaintiff do have and recover of and
from the Defendants the Sum of Seventy Dollars,
for his damages together with his costs in this be-
half expended taxed at Thirty Six ~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~ Dollars and Seventy ~~~~
~~~~~~ Cents and the Defendants in
Mercy &c

And now this Cause
coming on to be heard and the parties plain-
tiff and defendant being now in open Court by
their respective attorneys, and the issues being

Jas H. Jarvis, J.G. Stokes, who were duly
Sworn and empanelled to well and truly
try the issues joined and thereafter after
