The Court met pursuant to adjournment His
Honor Thos F. King Judge presiding
Whereupon
The Sheriff Samuel C. Tucker having ex-
ecuted the Venire Facias for the Petit Jury for the
second week of this term of the Court by Sum-
moning the following named persons to wit:
J.D. George J.F. Futch J.B. Dill, Simeon Fagan
W.H.H. Holdridge - W.B. Hodgson, E.K. Fagan L.W.
Fennell, John J. Barr - Isaac Mizell, D. Hicks
Samuel L. Smith, O.B. Bailey, J.S. Crown Jr. -
and F.J. Hammond - and that W.L. Cheves
Herbert Gay and J.J. Moody were not to be
found in the County,
Whereupon the Court for good Cause Shown
excused D. Hicks Samuel L. Smith and F.J.
Hammond from further attendance on the
Court

And now this Cause coming on
to be heard and the Parties Plaintiff and Defendant
being now in open Court and the issues being joined
a Jury was called and there came J.F. Futch
L.W. Fennell, J.J. Barr, O.B. Bailey, J.S. Crown Jr.
and now the venire being exhausted whereupon the
Came from the By standers J.W. Carter who were duly
Sworn and empanelled to well and truly try the
issues joined and thereafter after hearing the evidence
the argument of Counsel and the Charge of the
Court retired to Consider of their verdict and
thereafter on the Same day returned into open
Court and rendered the following verdict to wit:
We the Jury find for the Plaintiff the amt of
Judgement to wit: $353.69
& interest & 6 per cent to date 101.25
Total Amt $454.94
So Say we all Foreman J.W. Carter
Whereupon it is ordered Considered and adjudged
by the Court that the Plaintiff do have and
recover of and from the Defendant the said
Sum of Four hundred and Fifty four dollars
and Ninety four Cents together with his Costs
