The Court met pursuant to adjournment of yesterday
his Honor Thomas F. King Judge presiding
State of Florida } Hocker
No 20 vs } Breaking and entering a building in the night time
Frank Davis } with intent to commit a Felony
S.Y. Finley for Davis
And now the prisoner Frank Davis being into open
Court as also the Counsel for both the prisoner and the State
at the Bar of Florida Sworn and
Whereupon the Jury who had been duly^empanelled
on yesterday and sworn in this Cause was called to wit
Isaac Mizell L.W. Fennell O.B. Bailey J.S. Crown Jr. C.C. Powell
and W.H. Williamson who now being in open Court the Cause was
resumed - and thereafter having heard the balance of the testimony
the argument of Counsel and the Charge of the Court retired to
consider of their verdict and thereafter on the same day
returned into open Court and rendered the following
verdict to wit We the Jury find the prisoner
guilty

Wm Hoffman } commit a Felony
And now this cause is Nol Prosed
State of Florida } Hocker
No 19 vs } Assault with intent to Murder
Allen NelsonSpencer and Ned Barber} Taylor and Sanchez for Allen Nelson Spencer
And now this cause coming on to be heard W.A.
Hocker State Attorney prosecuting in the name and by authority of the
State of Florida and the Prisoner appearing in open Court in
his own proper person as well as by Taylor & Sanchez
his attorneys and now a Severance as to Allen
Spencer is ordered by the Court and now the
Prisoner Allen Spencer being forthwith demanded
how he would acquit himself of the charge
against him saith that he is not guilty
Whereupon a Jury was called and there
Came J.F. Futch, J.B. Dill - W.H.H. Holdridge - E.K.
Fagan L.W. Fennell and now the venire being
exhausted there came from the bystanders
W.H.H. Folk all of whom were duly Sworn
