vs } Breaking and entering a building with
Matt Williams } intent &c
Taylor & Sanchez
And now on this day this Cause
Coming on to be heard W.A. Hocker State attorney
prosecuting in the name and by the authority
of the State of Florida, and the prisoner appearing
on his own proper person as well as by his attory
Taylor & Sanchez whereupon the prisoner was ar
raigned and upon his arraignment saith that he
is not guilty as the indictment alleges against
him and for good and evil he puts himself
upon god and the County for trial, Whereupon a
Jury was Called and there Came J.J. Jones,
Oscar Wiggins Jack Burton T.B. Ellis, J.S. Dupuis
and M.F. McCook and M.S. Cheeves who were
duly sworn to well and truly try the issue
joined and thereafter after hearing the evidence
the argument of Counsel and the Charge of
the Court retired to Consider of their verdict
and thereafter on the same day returned into
open Court and rendered the following verdict
to wit, We the Jury find the Defendant not
Guilty T.B. Ellis Foreman
Whereupon the Prisoner together with his sureties
and the states witnesses were discharged -

George Bates } F.E. Hughes
And now on this day this Cause
coming on to be heard W.A. Hocker State attorney pros
ecuting in the name and by the authority of the
state of Florida and the prisoner appearing in
his own proper person as well as by F.E. Hughes his
attorney saith that he is guilty as the indictment
alleges, Whereupon the Court sentenced the prisoner
to pay a fine of One dollar and the Cost of this
suit and to stand Committed until the same is
paid
