day this cause come on to be heard and the parties
plaintiff and defendant being in open Court by their
respective attorneys and now the issues being joined
a Jury was called and there came J.F. Futch -
Isaac Mizell O.B. Bailey, Geo M. Colman W.M.
Bradford and James W. Exley who were
duly Sworn and empanelled to well and truly
try the issues joined and thereafter after
hearing a part of the evidence
Whereupon the Court adjourned until tomorrow
morning at Nine Oclock.

The Court met pursuant to adjournment of yester-

Maverick } And now the hearing
of this cause is resumed the parties plaintiff and
Defendants being in open Court by their respective at-
torneys as also the Jury who had been duly Sworn
and empanelled on yesterday to wit: J.F. Futch
Isaac Mizell O.B. Bailey Geo M. Colman, W.M.
Bradford and James W. Exley and the Jury aforesaid
after hearing the balance of the evidence the argument
of Counsel and the Charge of the Court retired
to consider of their verdict and thereafter on
the same day returned into open Court and
rendered the following verdict to wit:
