Whereupon the Court adjourned until tomorrow
morning at nine Oclock

The Court met pursuant to adjournment His
Honor James B. Dawkins Judge presiding:
Whereupon the Sheriff having returned the special
Venire Facias for the Grand Jury as having been
executed by Summoning the following named
persons to wit: W.D. Dickerson, M.J. Beckham
W.P. Tompkins, George Blitch, J.F. Townsend, R.R-
Roe L.E. Chestnut, M.G. McCarroll, G.A.M. Rains Sr
E.D. Fagan, F.D. Vaughn and T.W. Downing
Whereupon the persons summoned to serve as
Grand Jurors for this term of our Circuit
Court were called and there came -
1 Frank Servant 2. Gehn Chesser 3. H.L. Bevill
4 Ambrose Abbott, 5. S.M. Thompson 6. James Chesnut
7. Jas F.P. Johnson 8. D.A. Moody 9 J.H. Avera, 10 M.J.
Beckham 11 J.F. Townsend 12 T.W. Downing 13 W. Dickerson
14 M.G. McCarroll 15 G.A. Rains Sr. 16 Geo Easterlin
17. L.E. Chestnut, 18 and F.D. Vaughn.
Whereupon the Grand Jury retired to Elect a
Foreman and thereafter on the same day re
turned into open Court and informed the Court
that they had Elected James Chesnut as Foreman
Whereupon the Grand Jury was duly Sworn
and Empanelled and thereafter the
Charge of the Court retired to their Room
