And now this cause coming
on to be heard and the p William A. Hocker State
Attorney prosecuting in the name and by the
authority of the State of Florida - and
now the prisoner being demanded how he would
acquit himself of the Charge against him
Saith that he is Guilty as the Indictment
against him alleges

} And now the prisoner John
Monroe being in open Court for Sentence
was demanded if he had any thing to Say why
Sentence should not be passed upon him
Saith nothing, Whereupon the Court Sentenced the
Prisoner John Monroe to Confinement in the County
Jail at hard labor for the space of one (1) Month.
