Abram Dryer      }  Taylor & Sanchez
                     and now this cause coming on
to be heard W.A. Hocker state attorney prosecuting
in the name and by the authority of the State
of Florida and the prisoner appearing in his
own proper person as well as by his attorneys
Taylor & Sanchez whereupon the prisoner being ar
raigned saith he is not guilty as the Indictment
alleges and for good and evil he puts himself
upon God and the Country for trial, Whereupon a Jury
was called and there Came - J.J. Jones - Oscar Wiggins
Jack Burton, G.W. Scofield, M.F. McCook and
M.S. Cheves who were well and truly sworn
to try the issue joined, Whereupon this Cause
was deferred until tomorrow morning because
the States Witnesses were not present

Whereupon the Court ordered attachment to
issue for Cyrus Harris a witness who failed
to appear, Whereupon the Sheriff having brough
Cyrus Harris before the Court the Court sen-
tenced the prisoner to pay the cost of the
