Wednesday December 9th 1885
on to be heard and the parties plaintiff and defendant
being in open Court by their respective attorneys
and the issues being joined a Jury was called and
there came John F. Donaldson, J.M. Dell, W.H.
H. Falk, Wm Ellis, Roth Reynolds Jos A. Shannon
who were duly Sworn and empanelled to well and
truly try the issues joined according to the evidence
and thereafter after hearing the evidence the argu-
ment of council and the charges of the Court
retired to Consider of their verdict
Whereupon the Court adjourned until tomorrow
morning at nine oclock

The Court met pursuant to adjournment of yester-
day his Honor Thos F. King Judge presiding

} And now the Jury in this
cause who retired to consider of their verdict
on yesterday to wit: John F. Donaldson, J.M. Dell
W.H.H. Falk Wm Ellis Roth Reynolds and Jos A.
Shannon coming into open Court and rendered
the following verdict to wit: We the Jury find
Verdict for Plaintiff and assess his damages
at Two Hundred and Fifty (250 $ Dollars
10th Dec 1885) J.M. Dell

Whereupon it is Considered ordered and adjudged
by the Court that the Plaintiff do have and re-
cover of and from the Defendant the Sum of
Two hundred and fifty dollars ($25000) together
with his costs in this behalf expended taxed
at Nine Dollars and Thirty
four cents and the Defendant in mercy &c
