} And now this Cause coming on
to be heard on a motion for a new trial and
after argument had thereon it is ordered that
said motion be granted and that the
Judgment entered herein be vacated and
set aside and that a new trial be granted
herein
Whereupon the Court adjourned until Monday
morning at ten oclock on December 28th 1885

The Court met pursuant to adjournment His
Honor Thos F. King Judge presiding
Whereupon the Grand Jury came into open Court
and made the following report
In Conclusion of
our Duties we the Grand Jurors Drawn from the fall term
of your Honorable Court of the 5th Judicial Circuit
of Alachua Co Florida being called together for the
purpose of the acceptance or non exceptance of the
Court House have decided to accept the Same & We
feel that in Mr Murphy the Contractor and also in
Mr Campbell the architect the County has been fortu-
nate, The Noble Building stands a monument to
their Skill as faithful Contractors and we can not
adjourn without expressing to them each individu
ally our appreciation of them as Gentlemen and
would recommend that the County Commissioners
pay them the full amount Due
