And now the Grand Jury came into open Court
and announced that they had Selected Daniel
C. Hart as the Foreman of the Grand Jury -
Whereupon
        The following named Eighteen persons
were duly Sworn and empanelled as Grand Jurors
at this term of the Court to wit:

2   Dan Vaughn
3   E.C. Bailey
4   Reuben Bennett
5.  W.W. Brice
6   George Chamberlin
7   S.F. Waits
8   Frank Kelly
9   S.V. Gaskins
10  G.W. Burnett
11  L.W. Jackson
12  H. Riviere
13  G.W. Ferrill
14  C.C. Worley
15  J.A. Conaway
16  J.S. Dupuis
17  J.B. Coker
18  L.K. Rawlins

And now the Court having Charged the Grand Jury
the Grand Jury retired to their Room under
the Charge of Stephen P. Bevill who had been
duly Sworn as Bailiff to the Grand Jury

Whereupon C.C. Cochran Esqr was duly Sworn
as acting States attorneys assistant.

Whereupon
       S.C. Tucker Sheriff having returned the
Venire Facias For the Pettit Jury for the first week
of this term as having been executed by sum-
moning the following named persons to wit:
John Simmons, W.R. Mills B.F. Jordan, James
Bell - R.C. Bradley - C.A. Butler, John J. Barr
D.C. McIntosh - J.B. Dell - John Vaughn, J.T. Weeks
J.L. Strickland, Aleck Avera, H.C. Jeffords and
J.A. Crosby and that E.H. Gaskins, J.A. Preston
