The Court met pursuant to adjournment of
yesterday His Honor James B. Dawkins Judge
presiding:

tinued on the affidavit of the Defendant =

And now this Cause coming on
to be heard W.A. Hocker State attorney prosecuting
in the name and by the Authority of the State
of Florida and the prisoner appearing in his
own proper person as well as by his attorneys
Taylor & Sanchez Whereupon the prisoner saith that
he is not guilty as the Indictment Whereupon a
Jury was called and there came J.J. Jones
Oscar Wiggins, G.W. Scofield, M.F. McCook. M.S.
Cheves, and A.J. Collins who were duly sworn and
empanelled to well and truly try the issue joined
and thereafter after of hearing the Evidence the ar-
gument of Counsel and the Charge of the
Court retired to Consider of their verdict
and thereafter on the Same day returned into
open Court and rendered the following ver-
dict to wit: We the Jury find the prisoner Guilty

Whereupon the Court sentenced the prisoner
to confinement in the County Jail for the
space of sixty days =
