                    And now the prisoner John Austin being brought into
open Court and the Counsel for State as well as for the Prisoner at the
bar being in open Court Whereupon the Jury who had retired to consider
of their verdict returned into open Court and rendered the following verdict
to wit We the Jury find prisoner guilty of Murder in the second Degree
May 11th/86               S.C. Bevill

                    And now this cause coming on to be heard and
William A. Hocker State attorney prosecuting in the name and by the
authority of the State of Florida and the prisoner appearing in
his proper person as well as by his Attorney entered his Plea of
not guilty as the Indictment Alleges. Whereupon a Jury was called
and there came J.H. Dampier M.G. McCarroll D.A. Miller Marion Campbell Robt
McClellan and Jas Bradshaw who were duly sworn and empanelled to well
and truly try the difference pending between the State of Florida and
D.D. Wyman the prisoner at the bar and thereafter after hearing the
Evidence the argument of Counsel and the charge of the Court retired to
consider of their verdict and thereafter on the same day returned into open
Court and rendered the following verdict to wit: We the Jury find the
prisoner not guilty
