Derry Nettles } And now this Cause is Continued
State of Florida } Hocker
vs } Lewd & Lascivious assoctiation
# 51 Gilbert Murry & } & cohabitation
Clarissa Wade } Thrasher
} And now this Cause came on to
be heard W.A. Hocker State attorney prosecuting
in the name and by the authority of the State of
Florida and the prisoner appearing in open
Court in their own proper person as well as by
their attorneys Ashby & Thrasher and now the prisoner
being arraigned saith that they are not guilty as
the Indictment alleges against them Whereupon
a Jury was called and there came J.H. Dampier
M.G. McCarroll, S.B. Stephens, Robert McClellan
James Croxton W.D. Siegler who were duly Sworn
and empanelled to well and truly try the differ-
ence pending and thereafter after hearing the
evidence and the charge of the Court retired to
Consider of their verdict and thereafter on the
Same day returned into open Court and rendered
the following verdict to wit: We the Jury find
the prisoners not guilty Robert McClellan
May 14th 1886 Foreman
Whereupon the prisoners were discharged from
Custody.

on to be heard and now Comes the Defendant
and says that he is guilty as the indictment
alleges against him
Whereupon
the Court Sentenced the Defendant
to pay a fine of Twenty five Dollars together
with the Costs of Court
