And now this Cause Coming on
to be heard W.A. Hocker State attorney prosecuting in
the name and by the authority of the State of Florida
And the prisoners appearing in open Court in their
respective persons as well as by their respective
attorneys, Whereupon this Cause is Continued as to
the prisoner Jack Boynton on his affidavit, Whereupon
the prisoner Alfred Footman being now demanded how
he would acquit himself of the Charge against him
Saith that he is guilty as the indictment alleges against
him - and bow the prisoners Aaron Price, Mary Price
Elizabeth Floyd and Stephen Ransom being arraigned
Saith that they are not guilty as the indictment
alleges against them, whereupon a Jury was called
and there came H.A. Varnum, S.B. Stephens, J.R. Eddings
J.H. Jarvis, J.D. Cromwell, S.M. Mixon who were duly
Sworn and empanelled to well and truly try the difference
pending and thereafter hearing a part of the evidence
Whereupon came W.A. Hocker States atty and moved
the Court to nol pros the Indictment as to Aaron
Price, Mary Price and Stephen Ransom - which
was done, and thereafter after hearing the balance
of the evidence the argument of Counsel and the
Charge of the Court retired to consider of their
Verdict and thereafter on the Same day returned
into open Court and rendered the following
Verdict to wit: We the Jury find the prisoners not
guilty Henry A. Varnum Foreman
