                          And now this cause coming on to be heard William
       A. Hocker State Attorney prosecuting in the name and by the authority
       of the State of Florida and the Prisoner appearing in his own proper person
       in open court as well as by his attorneys Messers Taylor & Sanchez
       and now the Prisoner being demanded how he would acquit himself
       of the charge against him saith he is not Guilty of the charge
       as the Indictment alleges against him and for good and evil puts
       himself upon God and the Country for trial Whereupon a Jury
       was called and there came J.H. Dampier D.A. Miller M.G. McCarroll
       S.B. Stephens Marion Campbell and J.D. Matheson who were duly
       sworn and empanelled to well and truly try the deference
       pending between the State of Florida and the prisoner Edward Danzy
       and thereafter after hearing the evidence the charge of the
       court the argument of counsel and the charge of the court
       retired to consider of their verdict and thereafter on the same day
       returned into open court and rendered the following verdict to wit
