     Wednesday December 1st 1886 -

of E.D. Barnett deceased   }
                           And now on this day
this cause came on to be heard and the
parties plaintiff and defendants being in
open Court by their respective attorneys and
now the issues being joined a Jury was
called and there came 1 J.B. Coker -
W.W. Pope, C.W. Stephens, J.L. Crawford
F.P. Whittenburg and Ferd Bayer who were
duly sworn and empanelled to well and truly
try the issues joined and thereafter after
hearing the evidence the argument of Counsel
and the Charge of the Court retired to
Consider of their verdict and thereafter on
the Same day returned into open Court
and rendered the following verdict to wit
        Gainesville Fla Dec 1st 1886
We the Jury find for the plaintiffs and
assess their damages at ($22600)
                     Ferdinand Bayer
                             Foreman
Whereupon it is ordered Considered and
adjudged by the Court that the Plaintiffs
Miller Morrison & Co do have and recover of and
from the Defendant A.A. Barnett as administer-
trix of the Estate of E.D. Barnett the Sum of
Two hundred and Twenty Six ($22600) Dollars
for their damages to be levied of the goods and
Chattels lands and tenements of said E.D. Barnett
deceased in the hands of said A.A. Barnett as
administratrix to be administered by her together with
their Costs in this behalf expended taxed at
Ten ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dollars and 97 -        Cents
and the Defendant in mercy &c
