       Fall Term  A.D. 1886
         Wednesday December 1st 1886
       Cause Came on to be heard the parties
       plaintiff and Defendant being in open Court
       by their respective attorneys and now the issues
       being joined a Jury was called and there Came
       W.W. Pope, C.W. Stephens F.P. Whittenburg Ferd
       Bayer C.F. Parker and J.L. Patton who were duly
       Sworn and empanelled to well and truly try the
       issues joined - and now comes the parties plaintiff
       and defendant by their respective attorneys and
       Consent and agree that a verdict Shall be ren-
       dered in this Cause for the Sum of Five Hundred
       Dollars Whereupon the Jury aforesaid rendered
       the following verdict to wit
       We the Jury find for that Plaintiff and assess
       his damages at Five hundred Dollars ($50000)
       this 1st day of December A.D. 1886    J.L. Patton
                                                Foreman
       Whereupon it is ordered Considered and adjudged
       by the Court that the plaintiff do have and
       recover of and from the Defendant the Sum of
       Five Hundred dollars for his damages together
       with his Costs in this behalf expended taxed
       at                  Dollars and          Cents
       and the Defendant in mercy &c

                       } And now on this day this Cause
       Came on to be heard and the parties plaintiff
       and defendant being in open Court by their
       respective attorneys and now the issues being
       joined a Jury was called and there came
       C.W. Stephens  F.P. Whittenburg, Ferd Bayer
       C.F. Parker, J.L. Patton, W.H. Sanders who were
       duly sworn and empanelled to well and truly try
       the issues joined and thereafter after hearing the
       evidence the argument of Counsel and the
       Charge of the Court retired to Consider of their
       verdict and thereafter on the Same day returned
       into open Court and rendered the following
       Verdict to wit: Gainesville Fla Dec 1st 1886
