And now on this day this
cause came on to be heard and the parties
plaintiff and defendant appearing in open
Court by their respective attorneys and now
the issues being joined a Jury was called
and there came J.B. Coker, W.W. Pope
C.W. Stephens, F.P. Whittenburg, Ferd Bayer
C.F. Parker who were duly Sworn and empanelled
to well and truly try the issues joined
and thereafter after hearing the evidence the argument
of Counsel and the Charge of the Court retired
to Consider of their verdict and thereafter
on the Same day returned into open Court and
rendered the following verdict to wit:
Gainesville Fla Dec 3' 1886
We the Jury find for the Plaintiff in the Sum of
Three Hundred Dollars and Ninety & Two Thirds
Cents Damages Ferdinand Bayer
$300.90 2/3, Foreman
Whereupon it is ordered Considered and adjudged
by the Court that the Plaintiff do have and
recover of and from the Defendant the Sum of
Three Hundred 90 2/3/100 ($300.902/3/100) Dollars for his
Damages together with his Costs in this behalf
expended taxed at Dollars
and Cents and the Defendant
in Mercy &c

paid by compromise, in full. This Dec 28th 1886
