And now on this day this
cause came on to be heard and William H. Wigg State
Attorney prosecuting in the name and by the authority
of the state of Florida and the Prisoners appearing in
their own proper person as well as by Taylor & Sanchez
their attorneys and now the prisoners being demanded how
they would acquit themselves of the charge against them
saith that they are not guilty as the Indictment
alleges against them and for good and evil they
put themselves upon God and the Country for trial
Whereupon a Jury was called and there came
T.A. Carroll Burrel Wiggins J.R. Faircloth S.L. Blanton
D.J. Dinkins David Chesser who were duly Sworn
and empanelled to well and truly try the difference
pending and thereafter after hearing a part of the
evidence
Whereupon the Court adjourned until tomorrow
morning at half past Eight oclock
